Well this is a book from the Greytown library.This book is about a skinny boy called Androcles, he worked for a rich man named Brutus, who is the greediest man in the world . . . but Androcles escaped and ran into the woods and found a lion who had a splinter in his toe so Androcles took it out, then lion & Androcles were best frends for ever. One day Androcles was captured and put into a lion fight. Then guess what! The lion who Androcles had met was there and so they made thier way out and lived happily ever after. the end!!!

Pearlie And Her Pink Shell

I got this book as a prize from the Winter Warmers reading program ''so'' This book is about Pearlie and her perfect PINK shell house. One day Pearlie was making sure Jubilee Park was all in shape for the day but. . . when Pearlie got home she found her shell all the same colour,Sad GREY! She had to get her wond and turn it back to perfeact PINK but couldnt because the paint was still wet. She had to stay with someone else but everyone was busy doing work so she went with Opal and stayed at Rainbow Ridge for the night. The next day Pearlie found that her shell wasn't Sad Gray any more, it was orange purple and green! Sapphir and two rats did this but she still got in and got her wond and turned it back to perfect pink and lived happily ever after.

My grandma gave this to my dad to read to Jethro its called Me and My Dad!. This book is about two bears a father & a son.One day they went out for a walk & they find... secrets, they stretch, they run from the bees, they spin around & around, they hide from storms, they play a gane in the rain & stay dry, they have a swim in the water, they lift big heavy trees. Baby bear is sleepy and goes to sleep. I think everyone would like this book.

Where the wild things are

This book is about Max and the Wild Things. One day Max put on his wolf suit, he got mad at his mum and got sent to his room. Then his r00m started to turn into a forest it grew & grew until the ceiling hung with vines. Max found a private boat and sailed for a very long time to where the wild things are. wild things are monsters with horns and long hair, sharp teeth and claws. They made him king of all the wild things. They had a party. When they went to bed Max was lonely.Max smelt good things to eat . Then Max said ''bye''and went back home and found his supper on the table and it was still hot. I think boys would like this book.

This book is about a pig and elephant playing outside. Then it started to rain, pigy was mad because he did not like rain. So the elephant covered pigy with his ear but it was still raining. The pig found out he likes rain and they played in the rain. But the rain stopped and pigy got mad. So the elephant splashed water on pigy like rain and he was happy. I think boys & girls would like this book.

The Way Back Home

This is a book about a boy who found an aeroplane in his cupboard. He lifted up off the ground in the aeroplane he went higher & higher in the air. BUT!...the plane ran out of petrol & was stuck on the moon. He was all alone but not for long, a martian & his ufo were alone on the moon too. The boy parachuted down from the moon and swam home to get the stuff to fix the machines. When he got back he was so tired he sat down in his favourite chair. his favorite programme was on. then he remembered to get the stuff he needed for the machines. He went back to the moon on a rope and climbed up to the moon. Then the martian and the boy fixed each others machines and hoped they would meet again. I think boys & girls would like this book. My favourite part is when they meet.

Not Now Nathan By Jenny Oldfield

This book is about nerdy Nathan and his pet spider Legs. One day they were practising for the concert, when it was Nathan's turn to play the violin he put the spider on the music book. The spider just ran away. After the song he was very sad so Daisy and her friends tried to find the spider but they could'nt. On the night of the concert Nathan was still sad he didnt want to play the violin. During the concert Daisy found legs under the chair. After the show she gave Legs back to Nathan and he was relieved. I think boys and girls would like this book.

YUK! by Kes Grey

This book is called ''YUK'' because Dasiy did't like wearing dresses. One day Aunty Sue had a wedding so Daisy had to wear a dress but Daisy would only wear it if she could draw it first. Mum said ''deal'' and Aunty Sue said ''deal" too!. But... it wasn't pretty like a real one!. It had a secrete confetti pouch, a sash of confetti. She got her mum in the face & Sue all down her dress with the confetti! I think only girls would like this book and it is easy to read.

Charlotte Frisbee and the slime attack

On fridays PAWS which is a club has meetings. One lunch they went to sluch'es shed where they found some slime on the ground in the corner. At first they were scared but not for long. Soon they make friends with the slime monster. Another lunch the monster took them to the beach. There in the shadows was a big slime monster. Which was the monsters mum. The monster stayed with his mum at the beach so PAWS went back to school just before the bell rang. I think boys & girls would like this book because it's cool.
